This study investigates misconceptions in Human Rights and Democratic Citizenship Education (HRDCE) among pre-service primary school teachers and develops activities to eliminate these misconceptions. Utilizing action research with 31 participants, the findings indicate that misconceptions were prevalent but could be effectively addressed through targeted teaching strategies. The study recommends incorporating concept teaching techniques into lesson plans to enhance understanding and retention of key concep
