What is Huntersville Community Event Overview about?

The Huntersville Police, in partnership with others, are hosting a free community event at Birkdale Village on August 6th from 6-8pm that will include a parade at 6pm, water games and activities for children, demonstrations from the police SWAT team and highway patrol, secure document shredding, food, and police/firefighter competition games starting at 6:30pm. The event will also include collecting old cell phones to support the Victim Assistance Program.
