The wildlife observation project has completed its annual wildlife population counts for the wilderness and cultivated land areas near Barstow College. In the wilderness area, counts were taken for 7 species including white-tailed deer, rabbits, doves, quail, and squirrels. The counts for doves and quail have declined each year over the past decade. In cultivated land, counts were also taken for multiple species across a 50-acre field used for rotating crops. The project committee will need to decide whethe
