The major reason for this edition is to incorporate ten new poems, an introduction and biography. Several poems in the collection were published in 'Touch, ' the St. Olaf College literary magazine in the 1960s. Years later several poems were published in 'Prism, ' the Oregon State University literary magazine. The earlier version of the book has been added by numerous libraries including the Bozeman Public Library in Montana, Latah County Library in Idaho, the Waldport and Sweet Home Libraries in Oregon, the Grand Ronde Tribal Library, and the University of Kentucky Library. More details about the poems can be found in the Notes at the end of the collection. A western artist, Andrew W.
