About this document
Liquid Propellant Blast Hazards Report by alain is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This document summarizes a report on liquid propellant explosive hazards from tests conducted in 1968. Over 270 tests were performed with liquid oxygen-RP-1, liquid oxygen-liquid hydrogen, and nitrogen tetroxide/unsymmetrical dimethylhydrazine propellant combinations ranging from 2,000 to 100,000 pounds. The results were used to develop methods for predicting the blast and thermal environments that could result from failures in missile and space vehicle systems using these propellants.
