The FC51 and FCR51 are adjustable flow control valves. The FC51 valve can vary the controlled flow out of the CF port within a given range as the handle is rotated, with excess flow bypassing to the EF port. The FCR51 model also includes an adjustable pressure relief function. Both valves maintain nearly constant controlled flow despite pressure variations and will shut off excess flow if the controlled port is blocked. Heat is generated whenever flow is bypassed or restricted in these or any valve.
