Types of Lime in Civil Engineering by মোঃ ইনজামুল হক মেহেদী is a document available to read on EtoBox.
Quick Lime is lime obtained from calcining pure limestone that is amorphous and highly caustic. Hydraulic Lime contains small amounts of silica, alumina and iron oxide combined with calcium oxide allowing it to set under water. Fat Lime, also called Rich Lime, is high in calcium oxide at 95% and sets hard when exposed to carbon dioxide from the air, being perfectly white and highly plastic. Poor Lime, also known as Lean Lime, contains over 30% impurities like silica, alumina and iron oxide from clay.
