What is Revision of Index Futures Tick Size about?
The National Stock Exchange of India has revised the tick size for Index Futures contracts, effective April 15, 2025, with specific changes based on index levels. The tick size for indices above 15,000 will increase from 0.05 to 0.10, and for those above 30,000, it will increase to 0.20. Options contracts on Index derivatives will continue to have a uniform tick size of Rs 0.05.
