What is The Gift of an Outstretched Hand about?

A woman stands on a street corner holding out her hand as a beggar in need. Many people pass by her each day, glancing at her but showing disdain for her presence. However, there is one who pays attention to her - God, who is near yet far away. He has taught her that love is a blessing greater than words and has shown her that her heart is meant for giving to someone special, though for now she stands with her outstretched hand that offers her heart to passersby.
