This study analyzed 258 brachytherapy insertions in 62 patients receiving treatment for cervical or uterine cancer. It found an association between higher vaginal dose values (D0.1cc, D1cc, D2cc) and increased rates of vaginal toxicity. Specifically, grades 1-3 toxicity were significantly higher in patients with a D2cc over 108 Gy compared to those below 108 Gy.
