What is Party Preparations in a Derelict Flat about?

Elliot and Darren enter a derelict flat to prepare for a party. Elliot is frustrated with Darren for eating a butterfly earlier and not helping enough. He insults Darren and threatens to kill him by dissolving him in acid. Darren mentions they had wooden guns made by their father as children. Elliot tells Darren to forget it and help him clean up the flat to get ready for the party.
