About this document
Green Tea vs. Xylitol Gum for Plaque Control by International Journal of Innovative Science and Research Technology is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study compares the effectiveness of a green tea mouthrinse and xylitol-containing chewing gum in managing dental plaque among 24 participants. Results indicated that the green tea mouthrinse significantly reduced plaque and improved gingival health compared to the chewing gum, with no significant differences between the two groups in terms of demographic factors. The findings suggest that the green tea mouthrinse is a viable alternative for plaque control in routine oral hygiene practices.
