What is Supratherme E7018 Electrode Specifications about?

Supratherme(Mod) is an all-position electrode for welding carbon steels used in heavy load applications and sour gas service. It produces radiographic quality welds with excellent cracking resistance. The weld metal has a typical composition of 0.06% C, 1.02% Mn, 0.44% Si, 0.006% S, 0.013% P. It has mechanical properties including a UTS of 545 MPa, YS of 460 MPa, 30% elongation, and 100 J impact resistance at -30°C. The weld metal hardness is 180 HV5 and it passes corrosion tests for sour service.
