Phenol Erector Spinae Block for Cancer Pain by talhawasim is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This case report discusses the efficacy of phenol in the Erector Spinae Plane Block (ESPB) for managing chronic thoracic pain in a 68-year-old male patient with metastatic renal cell carcinoma. The use of phenol in this technique resulted in significant pain relief, reduced opioid requirements, and improved quality of life for the patient. The findings suggest that ESPB with phenol may be a beneficial approach for chronic cancer pain management and warrant further research.
