What is Caillou about?

Caillou is excited because he thinks his dad is taking him to the circus that day. However, when he gets dressed, his dad tells him the circus is actually tomorrow. Caillou gets upset and refuses to help make breakfast. His dad comes up with the idea to have a "circus breakfast" by cutting out circus animals and a parade from toast to cheer Caillou up. They have fun pretending to be circus performers along with Rosie and Mommy.
