This document summarizes a study on factors related to dental caries status in children attending MIN 1 public school in Banjarmasin, Indonesia. The study found correlations between dental caries and several factors: dental health knowledge, frequency and time spent brushing teeth, consumption of cariogenic foods, and teeth brushing method. Of the 53 children studied, over 70% experienced dental caries. The study concludes that dental caries status is affected by dental health knowledge and behaviors.
