What is New Lap Winding Computation about?

The document outlines the computation for a Multi-Element Simplex Progressive Lap Winding with 8 poles, 56 slots, and 112 commutator segments. Key calculations include a coil pitch of 7, back pitch of 8, front pitch of 6, and a total of 56 coils with 8 parallel paths and 112 total conductors. The commutator pitch is defined as +1 for the progressive simplex lap configuration.
