What is Understanding Link State Routing about?

In link state routing, each node has knowledge of the entire network topology including node connections and link metrics. Nodes generate and flood link state packets (LSPs) to share this information. Using the shortest path tree algorithm, each node then calculates the lowest cost path to every other node and builds its routing table accordingly.
