This study evaluated the effects of autologous platelet-rich plasma (PRP) on wound healing in dogs. Ten dogs had full-thickness skin wounds created on both sides of their chest. The left wounds were treated with injections of PRP while the right wounds received saline injections as controls. Wounds were clinically and histologically evaluated over 5 weeks.
