The aim of the study was to examine the relations between Zimbabwe and China during the Covid-19 out break between 2020 and 2022 based on the claim that the two countries are “all weather friends”. The ties between Zimbabwe and China can be traced back to the days of war for the independence of Zimbabwe and the Look East Foreign Policy of 2003, which signaled Harare’s shift from its Western allies to the Chinese, after a fallout and accusations of human rights abuses.
