What is Project Sundown about?
Private security was supposed to be easy. As former special forces in Detachment-Delta, Vince Carver is used to thinking on his feet. But as a front for black-book CIA operations, his firm can be a magnet for trouble. Which might explain the pair of Homeland Security investigators nosing around. A string of attacks on the power grid brings Carver into contact with a San Jose radical militia. Only he's not knocking on their door, they're knocking on his. He quickly learns of Project Sundown, the idea that, without electricity, society will collapse and bring the federal government to its knees. Under CIA direction, Carver goes undercover. Throwing the feds off his scent is easy. The militia proves more challenging. Insider factions, mounting suspicions, and secret projects reveal the existence of a very tangible threat. Without time to spare and surrounded by people he can't trust, Carver barrels headfirst into a showdown that will change the face of the world..M.F
