This study evaluates the minimal quantities of lubrication (MQL) technique in milling ASSAB 718 HH steel, comparing its performance against traditional flood cooling and dry cutting methods. Results indicate that MQL provides better tool wear and surface finish at lower speeds, while maintaining tool integrity despite higher flank wear. The findings suggest that MQL is a viable, environmentally friendly alternative to conventional cooling methods in machining operations.
