This action research was conducted to help Year 5 pupils improve their ability to identify patterns of changes in data in tables and graphs through drilling activities. Eight respondents were selected based on observations and diagnostic tests showing they were weak in this skill. The study focused on using drilling to improve teaching and learning of identifying patterns of changes in data. Results showed the use of drilling successfully enhanced pupils
