What is The Spring Rabbit about?

All the little rabbits that lived in the wood had brothers and sisters - all, that is, except for Smudge. But Smudge wants a baby brother or sister. 'Wait until the spring' everyone tells him. But spring seems a long way off, so Smudge tries looking for brothers and sisters everywhere - without success. This refreshing positive story about a new baby in the family is seen from a child's perepective - a child who wants a new baby in the family
