The study evaluated the efficacy of water, a foaming cleanser, and a cleansing oil for removing non-waterproof and waterproof sunscreens. For non-waterproof sunscreen, the cleanser and cleansing oil were more effective than water. For waterproof sunscreen, only the cleansing oil achieved similar removal as no sunscreen. The cleansing oil also caused less irritation than the cleanser.
