What is A Streetcar Named Conspire: New World Order/Oil/Freeways/Parking Lots about?
THE BIGGEST CORPORATE CONSPIRACY IN HISTORY. In 1926, streetcars in the US carried more than twelve billion passengers. Fast electric trains joined Chicago and Milwaukee, Houston and Galveston and many other cities. By 1960, nearly all of this was gone. The auto and oil industries hated competing with popular electric trains, so in 1922 General Motors president Alfred Sloan began a secretive campaign to get rid of them. It went into high gear in 1935.
