Aldo Leopold (1986-1948) was a conservationist and naturalist whose deep love and concerns for the wilderness and the natural resources ultimately led to the conservation of wilderness areas. The essays in this book were written by scholars and also by Aldo Leopold’s family, as a centennial celebration of his work, thoughts, and philosophy in the management of natural resources.
