About this document
Chelidurella guentheri in Poland by Chiper Cristian is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This document reports the discovery of Chelidurella guentheri, an earwig species, in Poland for the first time. Over 1,000 specimens of Chelidurella were collected from seven sites in central Poland and examined. All 109 male specimens were identified as C. guentheri based on the shape of the male pygidium. This expands the known range of C. guentheri eastward and suggests it may be widespread and common in central and southern Poland. No specimens of the similar species C. acanthopygia were found.
