The teacher will model having a conversation about writing samples to demonstrate how writers can provide feedback to each other to strengthen their stories. Students will then practice conversing in pairs about their own writing using suggested questions. They will write exit tickets summarizing one discussion point from their conversation. Accommodations are provided for various student needs. The next lesson will continue practicing peer feedback through conversations.
