This document describes an experiment to determine the moisture content of soil samples using the conventional oven-drying method. Soil samples were placed in moisture cans, weighed, dried in an oven, and reweighed. Calculations were done to find the moisture content of each sample by determining the weight of water in the sample. The sample with the highest moisture content was found to be 42.37%.
