About this document
N-Type and P-Type Semiconductors Explained by alirazabrilliant.s is a document available to read on EtoBox.
Semiconductors are materials with conductivity between conductors and insulators, classified into intrinsic and extrinsic types. Intrinsic semiconductors are pure materials with low conductivity, while extrinsic semiconductors are doped with impurities to enhance conductivity, further divided into N-type and P-type based on the type of dopant. N-type semiconductors have excess electrons as majority carriers, while P-type semiconductors have holes as majority carriers.
