Kathleen M. Massie-Ferch (11/12/1954-7/15/2002) was a science fiction and fantasy writer born and raised in Wisconsin. She worked her way through college, earning degrees in astronomy, physics, and geology-geophysics. For twenty years she worked for the University of Wisconsin as a research geologist. Massie-Ferch made short fiction sales to a variety of places, such as MZB’s Fantasy Magazine, Sword and Sorceress, Warrior Princesses, and New Altars. She co-edited two historical fantasy anthologies for DAW Books, Ancient Enchantresses and Warrior Enchantresses. Contents: A Touch Through Time, An Admiral's Obsession, Gifts of Wonder and Darkness, Moon Hunters, Nine Springs, Touched by Moonlight and Sunshine, Traces, Egypt 1 - Ancient Enchantresses of War, Egypt 2 - Casting The Cards, Egypt 3 - Warrior of Ma-At.
