DriveCleanup Tool for Windows Devices by tony is a document available to read on EtoBox.

DriveCleanup is freeware that removes non-present drives and their associated registry entries from Windows devices and registry trees. It works on Windows XP and higher, cleaning USB drives, disks, CDs/DVDs, floppies, storage volumes, and their registry items. It requires administrator privileges and can remove devices silently or in test mode. Later versions also remove WPD devices and impersonate a system process to modify protected registry areas.
