What is WA Regional Airfare Subsidy Overview about?

The Western Australian government has extended its Affordable Airfares Scheme to subsidize flights between Broome and Kununurra, aiming to boost regional economies by making air travel more affordable. The initiative involves airlines like Airnorth, Nexus, Virgin Australia, and Qantas, and includes price caps for certain routes to attract more visitors. However, there are concerns regarding the exclusion of some regions, such as the Pilbara, which may hinder overall tourism growth.
