A 14-year-old male was admitted to the emergency room after a motorcycle accident. He reported pain in his right thigh for 3 hours. On examination, he had deformity, swelling, and hematoma on his right thigh with tenderness and limited range of motion. CT scan and lab results were normal except for a closed fracture of the proximal third of the right femur. He was diagnosed with a moderate head injury and femur fracture. Treatment of skin traction with a 3 kg load on the right thigh was advised.
