About this document
Kumudvan: The Forest of Water Lilies by Neeraj is a document available to read on EtoBox.
Kumudvan is a small forest located 2 miles west of Talvan, near Mathura, where Krishna and his cowherding friends used to come and play. Beautiful red water lilies called kumud grew abundantly in the forest, giving it the name Kumudvan. In the forest is a sacred pond called Padma-Kunda, where according to scriptures one can gain all Vedic knowledge by bathing in. On the bank of the pond is a small temple dedicated to Lord Kapila who performed austerities there.
