A glucose tolerance test was performed on Mrs. BANDANATHAM ARUNA, a 30-year-old female. Her fasting plasma glucose was 92.0 mg/dL. During the test, her plasma glucose levels rose after being given 83 grams of dextrose, peaking at 136.0 mg/dL after 2 hours. Based on the results, she was diagnosed with impaired glucose tolerance, as her fasting glucose was normal but her 2-hour plasma glucose was over 140 mg/dL and under 200 mg/dL. The test results were verified and signed by three biochemist consultants.
