The Supreme Court ruled that the Court of Appeals gravely abused its discretion when it issued a resolution enjoining the enforcement of an alias writ of execution. DSM Construction had been awarded a decision in its favor by the Construction Industry Arbitration Commission against Megaworld for unpaid construction fees. Megaworld attempted to block the execution, claiming buyers of unregistered condominium units had superior rights. However, the Supreme Court found the unregistered sales were not absolute
