What is Converting Conventional to Green Buildings about?

This research paper explores the conversion of existing conventional buildings into green buildings using the SVAGRIHA rating system, focusing on small residential structures in India. It identifies necessary changes and provides a cost analysis for implementing green building practices, ultimately achieving a 2-star rating for the evaluated building. The study highlights the need for more inclusive green building rating systems and government incentives to support sustainable construction practices.
