This study investigates the effects of combined 0.75 Hz phase-synchronized repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) and transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS) on delta frequency activity during sleep. The results show that this stimulation significantly increased delta oscillatory activity during N3 sleep and enhanced functional connectivity during N2 sleep, but did not improve declarative memory retention or other sleep parameters.
