What is Specifying BACnet-Based Systems about?

The document discusses how to properly specify a BACnet-based building automation system. It describes that BACnet defines communication standards to allow different systems to communicate, but a specification cannot simply state the system uses BACnet and must provide details on the system architecture. The document outlines issues to consider like choosing the system architecture, specifying BACnet LAN types, and addressing services and messages.
