What is Madame Tussaud: Life and Legacy about?

Marie Tussaud was born in France in 1761 and learned the art of wax modeling from her uncle Philippe Curtius who owned a wax museum. She became his assistant and created wax figures of famous people she met, including Voltaire and Rousseau. During the French Revolution, she was forced to make casts of guillotine victims. She later married and moved to England with her waxworks, settling in London in 1835 where her museum became famous for its celebrity wax figures, including 13 of Michael Jackson.
