It was designed by Xitome Design and has an advanced mobile base and arms that can lift 10 pounds. The project was led by Cynthia Breazeal, a robotics expert known for previous expressive robots. NEXI has features like self-balancing wheels, hands, cameras, microphones, and sensors to navigate and interact with its environment.
