## Various toxicities: case report A 77-year-old woman hypertension, thrombotic microangiopathy, renal tubule damage, podocytopathy and polar vasculosis during treatment with lenvatinib for metastatic hepatocellular carcinoma. The woman presented for examination of kidney disease. She had a history of hepatitis B virus and hepatocellular carcinoma. She had undergone transcatheter arterial chemoembolisation, radiofrequency ablation and liver resection. The carcinoma ha metastasised to lungs. During presentation, she was suspected to have nephrosclerosis. She started receiving lenvatinib 8 mg/day [route not stated] for the carcinoma (day 1). On day 3, she developed hypertension. The woman received olmesartan. The dose of lenvatinib was decreased to alternate-day administration of 4mg and 8mg. Later, amlodipine was added for the management of hypertension. Her BP normalised. On day 18, she developed pneumonia, [aetiology not specified] which necessitated interruption of lenvatinib for 12 days.
