This paper investigates the experimental performance of deep reinforced concrete beams designed using strut-and-tie models generated through topology optimization. Three different reinforcement layouts are tested, including two optimized designs and one conventional model, revealing that the topology-optimized layouts exhibit improved stiffness and strength.
