The purpose of the review was to determine the prevalence of adenoid hypertrophy (AH) in children and adolescents based on nasoendoscopy (NE) studies. Seventeen studies including 5248 patients were included in a meta-analysis. The overall prevalence of AH was 49.70%. Studies were divided into groups based on risk of bias and sampling.
