What is Carolyn Keene: Nancy Drew about?

Carolyn Keene is a pseudonym used by various authors who wrote the Nancy Drew mystery series. The first author was Mildred Wirt Benson, who wrote the first 23 books under the Carolyn Keene name. Harriet Adams then took over writing after Benson and continued using the Carolyn Keene pen name, publishing over 200 books in the series. The true identity of Carolyn Keene remains unknown as it is a collective name used by multiple ghostwriters over the years to publish the popular Nancy Drew mystery novels.
