This document presents the synthesis, analysis, and experimental validation of novel compliant remote center motion mechanisms. The mechanisms use compliant leaf flexure links arranged angularly to achieve remote center motion with high cross-axis stiffness. Nonlinear finite element analysis demonstrates the accuracy of remote center motion and high cross-axis stiffnesses. The proposed mechanisms are fabricated and preliminary experiments validate the remote center motion.
