This study evaluated the effects of group size, floor space allowance, and floor type on growth performance and carcass characteristics of heavy pigs slaughtered at 160 kg live weight. 216 pigs were assigned to pens with either a low (1.0 m2/pig) or high (1.4 m2/pig) floor space allowance.
