What is Bamboo Leaf Ash in Concrete Strength about?
This thesis investigates the effect of partially replacing cement with bamboo leaf ash (BLA) in concrete. The study examines the chemical and physical properties of BLA, as well as the workability, compressive strength, water absorption, density, sulfate attack, and microstructure of concrete containing 0-20% BLA replacement of cement. Testing shows that 5-10% BLA replacement meets the target compressive strength of 33.5MPa at 28 days. Water absorption and resistance to sulfate attack also improve at 5-10%
